Palisade is located on the Colorado River at the base of the Grand Mesa. It has that small town feel, but is minutes from Grand Junction. The quaintness of the town will make you feel like you've gone back in time. It is home to the Annual Palisade Peach Festival in August and the Colorado Wine Festival in September.
Experience a great meal at Inari's Palisade Bistro for a casual and friendly meal, or go to the Red Rose Cafe for an eclectic mix of Asian, Italian and American dishes. Spend some time in the Blue Pig Art Gallery and be prepared to be surprised by the many talented local artists, who live the area. Take home some homemade pastries, rolls, cakes and pies from the Slice O' Life Bakery. Relax with a cold mug of locally hand crafted beer at the Palisade Brewery. Stop by the several local fruit and vegetable stands for farm fresh food. Tour several of the 15 local wineries.
